It took a whole month!!! but its finally here and fitted – Jom honeycomb grill don’t look too bad
For now front and back have been either de-badged and / or opelised. Next move is to sort out the wheels and the steering wheel badge. Door pins also replaced – much nicer than the stock plastic ones..
So what’ s next? hmmmm tacho rings…. means that I have to take out the tacho facia – not something I am looking forward to doing at the moment – maybe when I have some time off work and just not on the weekend.
Scoping out some nice rims too atm – trawling Ebay and Gumtree daily to find a good deal..
So many rims to choose from especially when the PCD is 4/100 – standard fitment really so thank your lucky stars that the car is a non ABS one. All the usual tyre shops have very boring ones and mostly crap made in China rubbish. If you want to go cheap I guess that’s what you can get. Was looking at some forged rims like the Forgeline range but there is no way I’m gonna be spunking $3-4k on a set of rims just for a city runabout. Although they do look sexy as hell… How gangsta are these !!
The Forgeline SS3P is a split 6-spoke 3-piece design with exposed hardware. Each SS3P wheel is built with forged 6061-T6 aluminum centers, 6061-T6 spun rim halves, and stainless steel aircraft-grade ARP fasteners. The SS3P features a powder coated or chromed finish with a polished or chromed lip. It is available in sizes ranging from 18×7.5 to 22×13. And since each wheel is built to order, Forgeline can offer special features like custom offsets and a choice of center and rim finishes.
SO DAAAAM SEXY!!!! a man can dream can’t he??
